Life is a journey, not a destination. i’ve always been into sports, but the start to my fitness journey was when i became a zumba fitness instructor in 2011. everything snowballed after that....first ocr (warrior dash) in 2012, first spartan in 2015. i hadn’t had many milestones after 2015. my first spartan beast was my last major one (sept. 2015). sure, i’ve continued racing and raced more events, but nothing had me as nervous or excited as my first spartans in 2015. until now. in 2019 i’m running in my first 50k (may 2019) and now contemplating running in my first toughest mudder (may 2019). a toughest m****r is a 12 hour race. two big races in one month???? should i do it???? or should i start with a different tough mudder, one that isn’t 12 hours.
