Welp, my 2nd day of the tournament didn't start the way i wanted it to. druncle phil strikes again! i lost my phone. my life line and a necessity for my travel plans. don't know how i got home but i woke up in my bed and made it to the fields in time. after the games i went back to the location of the party and thankfully they had it. one save.
the night ended with a wonderful and crazy fun drag show.
the morning of the 11th i booked a tour to explore doi inthanon, the highest point in thailand as well as the southern start to the himalayas. it was breathtakingly beautiful.
the day was capped a wander to different temples as well the chiang mai night bazaar. followed by getting to the agreed meeting point to light some lanterns and float some crafts. the whole birthday was magical. in true phil form. i made it all the way to about 100 meters away from my hotel and druncle phil thought that i'd gone far enough. i wake up on the steps of store front my slippahs as my pillow eventhough i had a backpack full of clothes, and everything still near me. if this was hawaii, i'd have been maybe left with my shirt and pants on. everything else would have been gone, for sure. super fortunate to make it out of another birthday with all of my belongings and only lost more dignity. dignity is overrated.
thank you all for an amazing and memorable birthday. ❤️❤️❤️
