Just popping up to give you a reminder that whether you’re travelling or at home – you don’t need to be on 24/7. 😍
it’s more than just okay to slow down – it’s necessary! ☺️while it’s amazing to travel and do some incredible things, it’s equally important to take time to relax and reflect.
i’ve had the craziest busy two months of travelling and it’s been very full on. i’ve climbed volcanoes, i’ve swam through caves, been free diving with sea turtles. it’s been non-stop. 🌴 -
but now, my body is tired, and that’s okay. it’s something i’ve struggled with over the years – usually ending up sick and burnt out. 😴 -
perhaps this is adulting, that i’ve realised before i reach that point and i’ve decided to slow down and reign it in for a bit.
i’ve just spent two weeks in nicaragua dedicated to relaxing, focusing on health, wellness and work for a while before things get crazy in costa rica.
take it from me – you don’t have to do all the things and you don’t have to feel guilty for saying no. put yourself first and do what’s best for you. ❤️
who else struggles to slow down and avoid burnout?
