okay, here we are: everyone knows we have a very big strike right now in france. i spent several hours today on the streets of paris. what can i say? shops and restaurants are open and full of people, the city is decorated for christmas and so beautiful 😍 ⠀⠀
true, only two metro lines work reliably, but most buses are running normally. the situation is not at all chaotic - big demonstrations take place only when and where the officials have given permission. the main problem for your trips to paris in december can be canceled flights, and getting to and from the paris airports. you may be obligated to take a taxi.

Nyc travel tips!! you can see the empire state building from the top of the rock at rockefeller (67th floor). the views were great, but honestly, i thought the city views from the empire state building were so much better (80th and 86th floors and more centrally located).

Walking around area of ooty train station 🚉 and bus station 🚍 comes to be at ease and unease at the same time. it's at ease because they are located very close and adjacent to nearby and also one of the main market is surrounding to it. and also the one of place to get taxi's, buses, auto rickshaw. the unease part of it is cleanliness, considering ooty is considered on of highly rated destination for visitors the place is not well taken care. exploring around the lake and stations roads could give a nice experience only if ooty municipal and tourism department maintain the surroundings in good shape! .

You know, when i googled some information to talk about a thai long boat (transparency, i don’t know everything about the long boat, which makes this job cool, i have to consistently learn new things) i didn’t know what i would find.

but here’s something interesting for you 😱. obviously the long boat is a native to southeast asia boat (clearly, everybody knows these things). but! did you know that the thai long boat has is dying?? i’m 1989, the thailand government banned logging on its natural forrest’s (🥳). this lead to a shortage of timber, forcing people to import timber if they wanted to make more long boats.

due to this, there aren’t many new boats being designed, and prices of these iconic boats have gone up 70 time (ya, 70) from what they use to be.

what used to average $83 no costs over $5,500.

the only thing that has inflated at the same rate in the same amount of time is college tuition (joking, but not really).

Art class anyone?

Room safes seem like a great idea but one thing that few people think about is the number of hotel employees and how many of them have the codes to the safe.
at a minimum the management staff and the cleaning staff probably have them out of necessity. then everyone that any of them have told the code to. so the safe may be a good option for outsiders breaking in but you should never leave anything in there your not willing to loose, specifically your passports, ids, travel papers, etc. when the majority of the hotel staff still has the access codes it only takes one crooked, desperate, or blackmailed employee and you could loose what ever you put in there.

while it's highly recommended to visit istanbul during spring and summer☀️ this year i got to visit this gorgeous city by mid march( to be honest , i didn't have much choice 🤷 because that was the only and the latest opportunity to travel before my foot surgery) ⁠
the weather was already perfect and we had really very warm days 🌞yet, you need to pack tops that you can layer ,because the temperature changes a lot during the day, especially when the sun is down 🌆 also make sure to pack a winter coat as it can get really fresh at night . you'll probably need it too if you go on a boat tour , which i highly recommend 🛥️

l’alcazar è una reggia moresca, piena di arabeschi, fontane, immensi giardini in cui cercare ombra e ristoro. nonostante siano per lo più spogli e di arredamento non vi sia traccia, ogni stanza vi lascerà a bocca aperta. le decorazioni sono coloratissime e meravigliose.⠀
