question: when was the last time you got sun ☀️ burned?
i thought it would be fun to make this video even though i stay away from the sun & always lather on spf 50+. but if you ever get scorched, try this recipe:
apply 2 black tea teabags soaked in cold water, to soothe the burn & reduce inflammation.
the tannic acid in black tea helps pull out some of the heat from the skin & helps restore skin's ph balance.
apply this mask & leave it on for 20 min, then gently wash off with cool water & follow with your moisturizer. you can mix a little aloe vera gel with the moisturizer too, for further relief.
mash 1/2 cucumber (with the skin on). the skin has healing vitamin a. use a food processor to mash it until it's almost liquefied.
add 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel + 1 teaspoon vitamin e oil.
vitamin e is a powerful antioxidant that can help decrease inflammation.
place the mixture in fridge for ~ 10 min, apply & leave on for 20.
do this every day until the skin heals.
