Carbon / titanium race turbo,
currently 2 models are available,
14cm2/16cm2/18cm2 titanium turbo housing , at 900°c the housing becomes opaque, you can.see the turbine wheel spinning. the turbine housing is a first of its kind, the housing has a transient recirculation groove and superior aerodynamics for faster flow guides. the compressor housing has been pressure tested to 8bar. a year in development and the decision was to go with journal bearings and t****t bearings as these are a high pressure ratio turbo, ballbearings cannot withstand the same workload thrus bearings can (this is why garrett still offer t****t bearing turbos and why mitsubishi still do not use ballbearings) the compressor housing is a modular design and can be changed, currently a 54/77mm billet wheel is used, and exhaust options are 64mm or 67mm.
