take it from someone who neglected self-care for years, not paying attention to your own needs can leave you physically and mentally exhausted and emotionally bankrupt.
self-care is nearly as essential as breathing. and, we all know what happens when we stop breathing. to add value to your life, self-care must be deliberate, directed and daily. start simple:
🧘🏽♂️make 30 minutes of downtime a non-negotiable part of your daily schedule. listen to your favorite music or sit outside and birdwatch.
🧘🏽♂️get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep nightly.
🧘🏽♂️eat a healthy breakfast.
🧘🏽♂️walk during lunch.
🧘🏽♂️check-in with yourself 3 times a day. ask... how do i feel? make adjustments that’ll make the answer be...great!
