Urbandecay inked brow review!
60hr wear?! so when this product hit the shelves i was a little... confused..? it's a very creamy-liquidy consistency. the product applicator is way too bulky and won't give you very precise lines in my opinion.
i took a sample from work, and finally found it hanging out on the bar tonight 😂 what better time to try a new brow product, than during a shelter in place order for your county? 🤷♂️ i used my own angled brow brush to get crisper lines and application.
it went on really light at first, so i was a bit worried... it took some building, and more of a pat and press motion, than a swipe or brushing motion to get a more opaque application once i got the shape drawn out.
i can only speak for us no-brow or very little brow hair people though!
while the initial application was s u p e r shiny and unnatural; some translucent powder helped calm that down a bit. 🙌
once applied and completely dry, this is a completely, 500% budge proof, smudge proof formula.
this was not my favorite formula to work with, but i would definitely consider buying this for gym days, pool days, beach days, or days i'm outside in the texas summer and just want eyebrows to stay put!
it claims to be waterproof. when rubbing rather generously with a wet cotton round, very very very little product appeared on the pad, but no smudges or mess. i give it a stamp of approval for sure.
this is definitely not a "beginner" brow product. but if you're willing to play around a bit, and see how this will best work for your brow routine, i don't think this is a bad product for $26 🤷♂️ i think the applicator needs a revamp, but over all, this would be a pretty useful product for some people who are looking for that stay all day, brow.
i don't think this would be my staple every day brow product... but i do think on no makeup days, workout days, or pool/beach time, this would be a very good go-to product for myself personally.
i just wish it came in a purple 😭🤷♂️ pros: smudge proof, waterproof, super long [60hr] wear time!
cons: a bit hard to work with, dries down super shiny, applicator is not the best so you will likely need your own brow brush.
