onlookers basking before the sunrise on their weekend getaway stood petrified with their mouths agape as they witnessed four strangers emerge from the cascading (13 ft) cliffs in front of them.
after fighting tooth and nail to scale the rock face and braving the rising tide lashing against our feet - attempting to drag us into the oceans eerie depths - we emerged near the surface. sopping wet and beheld with a newfound confidence we stood before a crowd.
we may not have been the most tactile warriors but we did defeat our fear of heights, drowning and mediocrity.
some would say we were out of our minds to have done what we did. but nay! i say that at best we just had a stellar tour guide. a la jolla local, if you will. one who was willing to risk our own safety in exchange for adventure!
also we saw a pirate who was very talented at hurling bubbles into a crowd of children.. and well.. us also.
