*this caption got super weird, but i hopefully made a few good points lol*
what’s you favourite game?
i’ve been laying in bed for a couple of hours now, and i’ve been thinking of the usual stuff. you know; “what should i do today”, “how long would it take for a snail to travel around the world? but could it though? how would it travel over water? would it be smart enough to figure out that humans have invented ways to travel over water, either by boat or plane?”, and most importantly “what’s my favourite game of all time?
the first question to decide is; how do you define favourite? is it how much you enjoyed the game when playing it the first time? how about the second time? does the game still have value after beating it? does your favourite game has to be fun? is your favourite game also the game you think is the best? it’s a complicated question for sure.
for me it’s comparable to describing love. it’s hard to describe why you love someone. is it because they look good? they’re full of surprises? is it someone that doesn’t makes you life completed? are they reliable, and makes you feel at home after a long day?
or is it someone that’s allay by your side?
for me the legend of zelda: breath of the wild fills every of these boxes. there are a lot of game that are better looking and/or are more fun, but they are usually only more fun with friends. but botw is someone i i’d gladly be on vacation with and never leave the room. it’s someone that i’ll introduce to my mom and dad. when someone talks how good it looks, i feel proud knowing that i’ve played it and that i could go home and play it every day for the rest of my life.
