Having bad cravings can definitely make it difficult to reach your goals. i'm all for flexible dieting and having treats in moderation, however certain foods will help regulate your hunger better than others, so you want to make sure you're incorporating a lot of nutritious foods into your diet. these foods secrete hormones that send a message to your brain telling you that you are full. this can help reduce cravings so you're not tempted to eat all of the ice cream 🍦😋 cravings really do come down to various hormones in your body, and if you don't have a well balanced diet with vitamins and minerals, that could be your problem. foods that can help with this are: -
🍗high protein foods (can be meats higher in fat, or whey protein). .
🥗cruciferous vegetables that have a higher fibre content - which makes you feel full (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, etc.) . .
🥜 high f*t foods such as nuts and seeds. . .
in short, protein, fats, and fibre fill you up for a longer amount of time, regulate your bodies hormones, and keep you feeling satisfied. yes, having some less nutritious foods in moderation is totally okay but make sure you're getting enough of the other stuff too 😊 -
