A bowl of good nachos!
crisp tortilla chips, salsa, beans, cheese, jalapenos and guacamole.
i read it somewhere that tortilla chips and cheese sauce isn't nachos...yes..thats right! that's a totally indianized version cause we want lots of cheese in everything.
real nachos is all about beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeno, sour cream , shredded meat or grilled veggies, grated cheese and lettuce. not even a saucy salsa.
i'm glad that these at @husttle_bar_bistro weren't loaded with cheese and had the right amount of it. the chips were super crisp made inhouse. good nachos in short.
loved the rajma galouti and the avocado toast too.
shushi needs little work.
this is a new party place and serves good food and cocktails. perfect place to chilli.

i've learnt one thing in life and it's etched in my heart forever. people leave .. but cravings never leave.
you can't get some people back .. but cravings yes, you can get them back.
you can definitely stay away from some people .. but cravings, no.
craving these delicious avocado toast i had at the new @foodhallindia santa cruz. have you guys visited foodhall? it's a food heaven. even if you don't want to buy anything... please go have a tour.
have a healthy week ahead!
i soaked rawa in curd for a few hours. then added some water to achieve the desired consistency. before steaming it i added a tadka of curry leaves, chana dal, mustard seeds, cashews and green chillies, salt and eno (soda), mixed well.
after steaming it, i sprinkled podi and drizzled ghee over it.
tried these at a new small outlet at kandivali called @cheesetreat
this place serves some really good food which was unbelievable.
loved these chole kulcha and their burmese curry with rice. their tandoori platters, chinese, pizza .. everything they serve is good.
don't expect any ambiance here since it's very small but do expect some good food.
Simple meals .. tadka dal, aloo matar and bhakri
best kind of meals right?
i've been in my lows lately, lack of motivation, energy and enthusiasm. i've got so much content to share.. but just don't feel like typing here and posting it. even though i have a lot ..i feel i have nothing. hope you guys stick around until i'm back to normal.
a delicious vegetable curry with crisp dosa are indeed soul satisfying and comforting.. how many of you agree to this?
i usually eat dosa only at mom's place either for breakfast or lunch cause at in-laws place no one eats it early morning and lunch is the standard boring stuff.
but since i haven't tried this combination yet at home, i think will try it soon.
wierd combination .. isn't it?
but i enjoy such mix and match meals.
cause i can't eat monotonous food daily like how it is at any gujju household.
roti, sabji, dal and rice is a daily routine for lunch.
i need a change..we all need it i'm sure.
these naans are healthier and contain very little gluten.
i used whole wheat flour 1part, jowar (sorghum) flour 2 parts, little fine sooji and very little besan (gram flour). though, you can avoid besan.
i made two kinds of naan 1 with yeast 1 without yeast. this one contains yeast.
i added the yeast in the flour with a little sugar, salt, oil, coriander leaves, chopped garlic and chillies and finely chopped spinach. kneeded a soft dough with warm water and yogurt. let the dough rest for 30 minutes in a warm place. then rolled it out and cooked on a tawa they way it should be done.
the softest naans ever. even after hours, they were soft and not chewy.
