Zobo aka Hibiscus tea is a very popular refreshing drink in Nigeria. The dried hibiscus is boiled for some minutes and sweetened with sugar or honey. Many people also include ginger, garlic, pineapple etc when boiling. How do you enjoy your zobo?

Phew! With the situation of things in the country- fuel scarcity, endless queues, hike in transportation, food etc, things could really get one depressed. But then, make up your mind that nothing would steal the joy of the season from you. What are you thankful for? πŸ™Œ Christmas is here.

*New Blog Post Alert*

It's the season ofΒ AgbalumoΒ again, Yay!

Everything about the fruit, I love. The way the delicious milky juice and seed escapes from its confines and seeps into your waiting mouth when it is pressed and how your teeth goes to work on the red pulp inside is pure bliss. I remember as a child, I would chew and chew the red parts until it became sticky and passed for chewing gum. But then, do we know this wonder fruit has several health benefits? One of which is, it's a very good source of Vitamin C. Click link in bio ☝ to read more on the health benefits of Agbalumo.

πŸ˜”πŸ˜” There's this nostalgic feeling when you remember what this naira note did back then. Mama would say how she could cook two pots of soup with #5.
